hi im looking for some advice on the best way to heat a 300 gallon tank with a 50 gallon sump all the heaters i have looked at are 300 watts max could i put heat pads under the tank the tank is 12mm glass. heating the room is not practical for me so this is out of the window. i have seen in line heaters but only at 150 watts i calculated that i would need 900 watts does this sound right any advice would be greatly apprecciated cheers swifty

yeah its good to have a few 300 watt heaters in there instead of just one. that way, if one goes out at least you still have one going-i love the stealth heaters.
