Good luck! An aro that is at that size that has been eating live is gonna always want that. I had a lei that was only fed super worms before i got him. I tried months of starving. Eventually i gave in and fed what he wanted. More aros that eat pellets might help...but I doubt it. Might as well start odering super worms. Buy em by the 1000 online.
i'll snap a pic or two tonight when i get home. so just feed the other fish as regular and only offer the aro floating pellets once a week till broken?
Adult aros can go a long time without feeding when they move to new environments, Longest I heard was 4 mths. I normally feed my market prawns. If he doesn't want to eat dun force the issue. If he has tank mates, he will snatch food with them when he is hungry enough. Just do ur normal feeding, but if he didn't eat pellets before, it might be better to try wet food (market prawns, cut fish etc.etc.) Stay away from superworms or crickets. Real hard to get them off it once they get addicted.
