Put plastic bottles of water filled at 2/3 in the freezer and float them afterwards in your tank. You can replace them constantly if you have several bottles in stock. Be sure to switch on all airpumps in the meantime or increase surface agitation as the oxygen will be seriously depleted causing the fish to gasp for air.

will do that thanx alot :)

I don't see 86 being a severe enough issue to warrant buying expensive equipment or worrying too much about the fish at all. 86 is high, but still 100% tolerable to your stock. Just make sure you have plenty of air, because high temps exhaust dissolved oxygen rapidly.....Good luck ;)

Bigspizz is right, for what you have that temp is ok. If it gets real high (i.e. 90s), open the top and put fans on it . Evaporation will help cool it down. The fluctuations will be less severe than ice packs getting thrown and it'll be easier to keep up with topping off the tank than dealing melting miniglaciers all day.

You can lower the temperature by a few degrees with a fan blowing across the top of the aquarium.
