Most tropicals weill easily tolerate that temp.

In my view, 86 is quite warm (for everything but discus) and I can tell you from personal experience that well stocked tanks may begin to exhibit signs of anoxia. This is particularly noticeable when you turn off the filters, etc., to service the tank. There are simple things that you can do, such as ventilating the tank, turing off the lights, elevating the lights, and of course, decreaing your heater setting. I have also added ice during the summer and this helps a bit, at least temporarily. A comparatively inexpensive cooler can be built from a small refrigerator, but you'll still end up spending a couple of hundred bucks by the time you buy the frig, tubing and pump.
