HOW TO MAKE A CRYSTAL CLEAR TANK???

My 75 has been clowdy with algae and other crap for about two months now. How do I fix it?? I already learned that chemicals(especially if misused) can really mess with your crustations and a beautiful australian Goby. Pleae HELP

what type of alge are your getting?

Often times a healthy established tanks water is not crystal clear, more often it has a green/brown tinge to it.

Fix it by doing water changes everyday for a while.

Algae is mainly caused by nutrient imbalance in your water, either you feed too much or don't clean enough.

That's true. The water won't we crystal clear. But it would be clear. Ususally when it's clear and has a brown tinge, its time to clean the filers.

well my tank gets clear almost everytime. do you have gravel in there? what kind of filtration you using? water change is the key. it wont happen over night though.

What fish do you keep in your 75 and what size are they? What kind of filtration is on the tank?

use a diatom filter you can't go wrong for polishing

water changes, good filters, extra filtration, and light feeding.... test the water or take it to your LFS. most will test your water. and dont clean good bacteria off of your biological filter or the cycle starts over..

sounds like there is drift wood in there
