I would think any home supply store would sell it. Here in the states you can pick it up at any Lowe's or Home Depot.
I'm not sure what chinchilla bath sand is made of so I don't have an answer for that one.

chinchilla sand is too dusty, just go to home depot they have sand for 6 bucks per 60 or so lbs
they have two types here, a heavy multi purpose sand and a fine playsand
