how to make a mirror?

thanks i'll keep that in mind. how did your fish react to it? i have cichlids i'm going to try this with.

love the light, i didnt add it later its something that i had since the begining... they love the light.

Modern mirrors are coated with aluminum and the some black coating like laquer. I have use the cheap 12" squares and the cheap door mirrors for aquariums. If you cut them ( like I did to cover inside a pendant light) corrosion will start at the cut edges. I would say the corrosion (of the aluminum) is not bad unless you have it near salt water.

I got a 75 gallon with a mirror siliconed to the back of the tank. I guess it was a regular mirror from the store and it was siliconed at the edges
