How to make a PVC overflow siphon and a wet dry sump filter for a 90 gallon aquarium

looks good, I'm just concerned about the strainer, it would not take much to imped the flow, I am curious to know how well it works, good luck!!!

I have yet to hook this up to my tank as I still have to make the sump filter. So far I tested it on a trash can with a 300GPH pump. it worked fine with that. I had to turn the ball valve almost off to stop the gurgling for the input/output to match up.

As for anti-syphon holes... Does anyone have experience with these? I still question the need for some reason. I don't see people using them on J tube systems with an overflow box.

I guess I am not concerned about the strainer because I have big fish. That and I am the only one who puts anything in my tank.
