My O is pretty aggressive for an Oscar and would probibly kill it.

I put my larger BP with him and I am REALLY nervious.

the Oscar went up to the BP but the BP got away. Is this a sighn of aggression?

Well that depends...for instance, if your mom come up to you to give you a hug and a kiss but you got away is very different from if the BF of the girl you are seeing coming up to you...

There is a chasing when the BP gets too close. It's not like he chases him when he is not near him though.
