That'll do but I prefer scourer pads. They re cheap, stackable and u can cut them with scissors to fit your filter chamber. Plus they can be additional home for beneficial bacteria. I bought 10 pieces pack for 1.50

I was just kidding about on the hour but seriously, anything under 100 is silly IMO.
