I have never bleached wood. Wood that I find I just rinse the dirt off. Driftwood fresh out the water I really do not do much to it since it has very good bacteria on it and I have never had a problem.

i guess you are lucky then because i found some wood and it created a brown algea over everything. this would look cool if i had some different lighting instead of blue light.
