Tstove15;4018293; said:knowdafish, im assuming since your location says socal/Phillipines you also live in the states but how does living in the Phillipines affect your fish keeping? do you just keep your pond? or tanks too? supplies readily available for fish?
I had a Red Asian Arowana and a plecostomus the last time I was here, but I sold the Aro for a profit and gave the buyer (a neighbor) the pleco. The (large) pond is a work in progress and I am thinking about either raising Tilapia or Asian Catfish to sell to the locals as food fish. They are
about fresh fish and will pay the price! Our property also has 6 rice paddies that could EASILY be turned into fish ponds also. Raising Tilapia for food makes alot more money than growing rice, but my father in law isn't so sure and will take some convincing.
Aquariums are about 50 cents to $1 U.S. a gallon to have made. 100% silicone sealant is readily available as is cheap (if not thin) glass. krzr3000;4018677; said:Enjoyed the pics, thanks for sharing.
