Use furniture glides, that way you only need to lift each end less than a quater inch, yuo can also use a sheet of 3/4" plywood, laid onto the felt, and clamped down with several C-clamps over each slate section, to help prevent any shifting during movement.

I am a bouncer at a billard hall and have moved many tables the same size u said and how we do it is with 2 car jacks and 4 casters 1 under each leg and roll her away just raise both jacks at the same time and it will not distort your table it's a breeze u just need 1 other person that can handle a jack.

A caster is just a peice of plywwod with 4 little wheels on it that can move in any direction u can buy a commercial grade ones at lowes or homedepot.

Furnuture glides are just flat little discs that are smooth on one side and have a lip on the other, a couple bucks for a set of four at Wal-mart, lowes, etc. They come in several sizes,
