How to move tank across room?

Put the fish in a camping cooler. Even better than totes or buckets.

Take fish out, maybe take 50% or so of the water out (depends on the strength of you are your friends) then move across room as needed.

I use mover's dollies. They are rated for 1,000 lbs each. You can get a pair for $20 - $40 at Harbor Freight depending on size. I have had better luck with the smaller ones than the large models.
