How to net baby bass in the shallows?

safety pin the bait to the botom of the net when they go in the net to eat pull it out. or just use a minnow trap like everyone else. lol

How big?if maybe smaller than 2-3" get a couple butterfly nets from the dollar store they seem to work pretty
Good just sneak up and swoop you can even use bread if ya want

If you cut a bottle near to top side and flip it inside out and throw some dog food or cat food im it and soak it in the lake overnight and wahla

First thing, before someone giving him an advice, let's check on the fishing regulations first and see what is legal methods to take gamefish species. Pretty much netting and trapping gamefish are illegal in most states and possible Canada. Game wardens may not be that friendly and they may not be thrilled to see you netting gamefish out of the lake.

i'm not sure but i've seen other people do it. ANYWAYS, I didn't catch any bass with nets. The only bass i got was a baby what was stranded on the shore. I think i'm going to to try netting them since it's unsuccessful anyways. I guess i'll just use some tiny hook then.

i'm not going there for a long while since my parent want to eat all the fish that I catch! LOL. One bass is good enough......for now.

I'd say buy the smallest hook you can buy. Eagle claw makes a little hook that's around 2-3 centimeters long. Used it to catch natural trout in some streams at my hunting cabin. I'd say make the hook barbless put some worm on it and catch the bass that way
