I have no string algae, my water is clear and not green, fish are healthy, plants are growing all is perfect - other than my water feature which has constant green algae growth which I scrape off but it keeps coming back. Is there anything I can apply to the rocks or within the filter that would prevent the algae from forming?

they have some natural microbe controlling agents, can think of the names at the moment. but, our ponds are the same way with the algae on the waterfalls, so i really don't know

its on mine as well...i have a uv light and my water isnt green..its a lost cause, it will always come back..

Needs more biological filtration apparently. More nutrients in the water than the present filter can use.

More filtering plants or physical filtration.

What is the filtration?

The algae growing in the waterfall stc. show that the ppond is healthy tho.

i agree with dr. joe, algae on a waterfall indicates your water is healthy. i really wouldnt try to add anything to the water. just scrape it off when it gets too unsightly :)

if you dont have any algae eaters in the tank get some algaefix it works

how you gonna get the algae eaters to clean the waterfall!??!?!?
