So I'm building a 471gal tank 7'x3'x3' plywood tank, I'm using the glass off my 150+ tank glass is about .5'+ thick glass is 6'x2.5'. Glass weight roughly 80-90lb. And I was wondering once I put the glass on the front then the frontside of the tank will be heavier. I don't want my tank to topple over. Should i weight it down in the back or build it longer on the bottom. This is my first DIY tank so I will be needing a lot of help, I haven't even figure out what glue to use etc. I will be using pond armor since i seen some great review about it. Tank build will start hopefully next month. Pic will come soon.

Patience. It's only been an hour during the time of day when most people are working.

Use a strap to hold it in place if it starts tipping or just place it on its face. Although, with the weight of the entire setup, I wouldn't hink you would have too much tipping going on as long as the tank has a reasonable front to back width.
