I like that I was saying Lee char dye, Lee char dee which is close to yours. That's the problem with using a dead language no one uses it no one speaks it so if you never took Latin you don't no the rules of the language so everyone comes up with their own version of the word. For me any word ending in I has a long e sound because that's how we pronounce I at the end of a word. Like before with kelberi, my natural pronunciation would be kel beer ee not kel beer eye. I've been told I speak Latin with an Italian accent, I guess that's a good way to discribe it.
