Hello Everyone i Recently upgraded from an Eheim 2250 to a 2260 and it is a beast I have it installed in my 225 gallon or 6'x2'x2.5' Moba tank and the water flow is too strong for my tank,i tried enlarging the holes of the spray bar but it did not have or had but only a little effect on the current. I tried positioning the output on the glass but the flow is still very strong.

How can i reduce the current that is being produced by the Spray bar?

Would really appreciate the help

You could buy an additional spraybar, and connect it to the one you already have.

500 GPH (that's what I gathered the max output is from a quick internet search) for a 225g is too strong? I think installing a tee and either an additional spraybar or at least another output would solve your problem.

What i did was i added more Holes And it somewhat lessened the current,
I have 2 Rio Powerhead also Connected and the total turnover is 10x.

Thanks for the replies guys.
My problem now is we have a scheduled blackout every other day at a 5 hour interval so my filters are off every 5 hours

add more holes to the spraybar..

bigger holes wont change much... more holes pointing in different directions will diffuse the current...

obviously dont drill holes pointing up...

bigger holes wont change much

Why wouldn`t they?
