My thoughts exactly, what happens when the one person breeding them has a bad winter or some big mishap. It's only a matter of time until these guys are gone if no one else can start successfully breeding them.

I hope you guys keep this thread going as your really putting out some great personal experiences and info. and perhaps this threads relatively frequent responses will make others take interest in these rare cichlids. I know you guys are inspiring me as well as worrying me that my juvies will someday turn on each other.
