How to remove green algae on glass

I presume you have live plants? If so have you thought about adding a co2 system?

Otherwise, what about dosing the tank with flourish excel? That might also help with algae?

It has a co2 system. I don't know how to work it though. I'll talk to my dad about that.

This takes time. I have the same issue, I take yarn and bunch it into a ball. I scrub in small circles to get it off. Its safer in my opinion and avoids and scratches.
 
Coz i get it in my planted tank when my Co2 isnt high enough as well, only on the slower growing plants like anubias though...

^ then longer photo periods, no Co2 and maybe extra nutrients?
