How to remove scratches from glass?

The trick is that you don't actually buff out the scratches, but soften the edges so they aren't visible anymore. I've had good luck before using turtle was polishing compound that you would use to remove swirl marks from a cars finish. This with a dual action buffer has done the trick for me before.

Really turtle wax?

I find that I hardly notice scratches in most glass tanks unless they start to grow algae. The "dobie" sponge (found at your grocery store) is REALLY good at getting the algae out of them. It's a sponge covered with some abrasive plastic on the outside. However, it's soft enough that you can use it on acrylic without scratching it too!

That's a great idea. I have a few in my 120 that are just bad. Pile of rocks fell over and well......, I'm just glad the glass didn't crack. My own fault too.

Sux because its one of my favorite tanks and the scratches are right in the viewing window for pics. Ruins all of them
