How to safely clean a used empty tank?

I was just wondering, what type of vinegar do you guys think works the best, or does it not really matter?

When I get a used tank, I say screw safety, I want it clean fast. Toilet bowl cleaner will remove pretty much anything. Just make sure you rinse it properly. I've used this method for a few years and I have had no problem.

When I buy a used tank, I set up in the garage fill with water and add a 1/2 gallon of bleach per 50g of water. Let sit for 48 hours then scrub with a pot scrubbie and use a razor blade to remove anything else Rinse the tank out and let dry completely.

With that tank you have they are known leakers, mainly they fail in those front two seems.
