talk to him and suggest that he allow you to help him clean the tank. do not try to be a wise guy and say this in front of the class. talk to him alone. and if that does not work, leave his tank alone and forget about it.

Religion. Really the most useless class to me. I already know what I want to be and it has nothing to do with religion, he's not good at teaching, and they teach us the same thing year after year.

Print out some old threads from here, or an article from a website, or just a neatly typed report on Plecos and Goldfish, and their size and requirements, and tape it to the door, and don't sign your name. Who knows, if you type it yourself and he finds out it was you, he might give you extra credit. If not, he may give you demerits. You never know

WTF! My high school doesn't do that
There was a high school I almost went to in that is required to have an aquarium in every classroom. I saw a 30g community tank with Tetras, Blind Cave Fish (I know, just another kind of Tetra), Danios, amd some kind of exotic Pleco. There is also supposedly an Oscar tank, and I also saw some kind of half-filled Amphibean tank. They also have a partnership with the Coney Island Aquarium, and they regularly go seining on the Coney Island Beach. But my parents didn't like the neighborhood.
