Bulk head one the other install a bulk head with a valve and use it to drain water for changes. I have a pvc water spicket on mine works grat been there for 10 years.
just get bulkheads and cap em off maybe have a ball valve(or gate valve) on one instead and use it for quick water changes
IMO attaching a peice of acrylic on it is a waste of acrylic not to mention waste of 2 perfectly useable holes( if you eventualy change your mind or sell the tank)

I would prefer to seal it ....i wont ever sell this tank...and wont ever use these holes.....The holes are on the very bottom of the tank so water changes wont work cause it would just suck out the substrate,
is the 4 or 16 stronger for the sealing?

Mine are on the bottom and I buitt an egg crate 1/2" tall box and covered it with window screen never sucks the substrate and you could also just use an undergravel filter to cover it if you don't want to make it.
Weld on 16 is stronger than 4 but is much thicker to work with. 16 seems to not dry as clear. If it is on the bottom of the tank an you don't care what it looks like I would use 16. You can get it at a place that sells acrylic or some where that makes custom tanks.

theres a guy on ebay thats sells weldon 4 in mchenry but he only ships. i think i paid $10 including shipping...just remember that it drys fast and will evaporate and leave marks if not done corrctly..call me if you have questions and i'l check as i might have some laying around still.
