Silver arowana is bigger than asian arowana so will need a tank at least 8' x 2.5' x 2.5', anti-chlorine, heater and the tank glass around 10mm thick. The ph around 6-6.5, darkwater is optional. As for the decor, you will need gravel (e.g pea gravel), wood but make sure no sharp edges, lighting not too bright, dark background as they are quite nervous. Make sure tank is not overly decorated, aro need lots of space to move. Let the tank cycle before adding aro in. Silver aro can be kept with large fast moving fish e.g tin foil barbs. Aro is nitate sensitive so once a week 25% water change is a must. All uneaten food must be removed. If you keep it in a 4ft tank you will need to move to a bigger tank when it grows. Never catch aro with net but guide it gently into a plastic bag then tranfer to new tank. Silver aro is a beautiful fish. Hope the info helps.
