C Coryloach

1)Sand
2)pair of AC 70 or 110
3) I kept mine at 75°F, 7.8PH, hard water
4)Hand them with and without
5)Branches, rocks, plants
6) Peaceful fish will get along with anything. Mine were in with cichlids from Convicts to Oscar's just got to make sure they can't get eaten. Mine slept at night head down against the back wall of the tank. Will eat fry, helped keep a breeding pair of HRPs fryless with them breeding every three weeks.
7)don't know
8)They are pigs and will eat everything they can, even Oscar poo as its made... so in turn they poo a lot so frequent big water changes. With two filters I would do one each week. One filter would be weekly, maybe twice due to it doing all the work.

1) Sand refer but you can use anything you wanted like small rocks...etc.
2) filtration can be simple like any freshwater setup but they are required high oxygen level and pristine water condition, soft water refer or natural 7.0 PH.
3) Temp from 60F to 77F (I keep them in unheated tank and they are fine, even in winter where my room temp below 60F (around 50F I don't use heater in my house and I like cold temp in my room LOL).
4) Planted or Biotope setup is best for them, or keep them in species tank only or mix them with other bards species, some keep them with large cichlids but I don't recommend since they can be become food/snack for other bigger fishes.
5) I never try to breed them so I don't know how to answer the question.
6) Often water change never hurt nor overkill filtration, if the fish happy = happy owner :)

ok then
planted tank with sand substrate and some big rocks and driftwood
6 denisonii barb
12 blood fin tetra or ramy nose
ember tetra or HQ rasbora
4 cory or 6 siamese algae eater
am i right or wrong ?

1. sand
2. Canister with high turnover
3. 66- 78 F, pH 7-8
4. none
5. high current, big round pebbles
6. Mascara barbs, Sewellia lineolata
7. massive tank, huge shoal, cooling temps
8. keep water quality very good!
9. tank is too short longtime...
10. Look good in planted tanks too.

7.) Sorry, RAISE temperature, reduce current, at least written in a german forum.

Never bred but kept them.
But they grew to big for a 48 inch tank I had them some time ago.

are you sure plant nonoe ?
if i plant some there will that bad for them ? if not...
then eady low tech hardy plant suggestion....
or is there any plant preference of their own ?
