I have 30 endlis over 15 inches in a 300 gallon tank. The problem is i can only ever see a few.I have many java ferns and a bunch of drift wood in the tank.I also have a mixed natural color of gravel. Only at feeding time do i get to see these monsters.Three are over 20 inches.

What would be the best decor to show off these beauty's?I do not really like the idea of removing the gravel.

Are your ferns buried or are they attatched to something i would try a thin layer of sand and have all the plants attatched to your driftwood

the trouble with big endlis is when they eat they go crazy ,plants fly everywhere.
I have the ferns just sort of moving around the tank bottom but not rooted.here is a picture.

I would go with Red gravel (like the brownish red kind not that dumb goldfish bowl gravel) and then setup you drift wood so that it is standing on its tips so you can see under it so that cant hide behind it but only under it. The gravel will bring out the color of the fish very nicely and if u attatch the java ferns to the driftwood you would have very nice complementing colors with the green against the red... I had a bit of the same going on in my tank and it looked sweet... You can see my endlis sittin in the back...

Damn Mark! The pic is huge!! Tank looked great though, I have kind of the same and I love it. I think it would work really well in your tank.
