how to stabilize datnoids

Mine took some time, but clean water and good food helps.

I guess I have been lucky my dat has been stable since day 1!!! I have heard that if they have no hiding spots, that helps....but who knows. I have a small cave & ceramic flower pot in my tank...he rarely hides though...

I know a temp way of makeing NTT stable

add a little bit of melafix to the tank the NTT should stay stable for 8-12hrs

It all depend on the environment and personality of the fish. My indo datnoid is only stable when its in dangered...meaning when there are a larger predator in the tank with him, like my tigrinis catfish , that when he start getting more stabled. And sometime they're not even stable at all.
