How to stock tall cylinder?

No they are salt...but I would think it would be much easier than fresh. I just don't think anything could really live in there as there will be almost no O2 in the water column as there is little surface area. And moon jellies stay small as long as you don't feed them very much often.
 
Nah, FW jellies are it. I'll need a long stick with a scrubbie pad for the algae, though. This is going to be a nutrient-rich environment. With any luck it will end up something like my greenwater culture.
 
Also from what I remember from my research on jelly fish are fresh water ones are supposedly extremely sensitive to any water fluxiations and I don't think they actually look like jelly fish most of the time. Just saying
 
I'll be sure to test the testable parameters of the lake if they are blooming. I believe they've been studied somewhat well by biologists. I need to do some research.
