how to take good pictures

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The brighter the light the less time the shutter needs to stay open in order to take in enough light for a picture. When the shutter speed is faster the lens eye stays open for a fraction of a second to capture that one moment before anything can move and avoid creating a blurry picture. So if the lighting is dark the shutter speed will need to stay open longer in order to take in enough light. When it is open longer more movement will cross its path and then everything is blurry.

is this like a camera class or something? Lol

set up.jpg64482.jpga dslr with flash is the best way, but there are some great shot here that were taken with point and shoot cameras. patience is key. and lots of shots. Jose Cardona takes some of the best pics and he uses a home made gutter to reflect his flashes. I hang two flashes from a boom stand. not the cheapest way to go, but the flash will allow for good depth of field and freeze the fish. if using on camera flash then shoot from an angle with all room lights off.

When you click the button, hold it for a while. When it gets clear enough, then capture it!
