All very good advice. I strongly agree with kenC56 about the hook trick. I had a very agressive baby Blood Python and I used to touch his outside coil away from the way his head was facing and the simple act of nudging him like this prepared him for the fact that he was going to be disturbed and it had nothing to do with a prey item. Doing this went a long way towards the snake having a better attitude when getting him out of his cage.
