The left female stingray seems to grow slower and seems to be skinny, it has been worse…

I have treated with Sera Tremazol 2 rounds already.

They have 20cm each.

I feed once a day and switch food everyday, shrimp, mussels, scallops, sardines, krill, bloodworms and squid.

They arrived same size but male is now bigger, female is smaller skinnier and never eats fully… and has a slight dent on head which has gotten better since last treatment.

Also I live in Europe so its hard to find medicine for fish.

What can I do?

Dent in head is stress / sickness response if you have the ability to separate or set up a divider that may help. Also albino rays sometimes can be very very sensitive to light. I would see if shutting off the lights alone for a week can help turn around its feeding response. I would also suggest checking water parameters. Also probably unrelated but just something to keep in mind. One of my long nose gars would bite the they eyes of my stingrays stressing it out. Hard to catch because of its infrequency. My alligator gars never did this but something to keep on the lookout for.

Truly Beautiful rays!!! Keep us updated.

Thank you!

Yes I will try not turning on the light, I have already noticed and separated them.
Water parameters are pristine. I have over filtered the tank and it has lots of plants.
Yea everyone says alligator bites a lot, but my alligator also doesn’t bother the rays but the floridas nip.

I've just recently started keeping gator gar, to be determined how they are with rays. My Florida gar always left everything alone and just sat there.

Prazi/metro in their food is always a good go to if there is any concern for parasites. Probably won't hurt, and definitely start working in some pellets!

Ive had Platinum, normal and Albino gators and they are all chill.

Worst experience for me was cubans… Also my Albino florida gars nip so much… Spotted gar are also chill in my experience.

I need to find me some red florida gars to add to my fogo tank.

Are pellets good? I have Tropical Krill gran and Hikari Massivore and Carnivore and more but
I never feed rays with it because with Black diamonds it makes the spots kinda yellow because of the astanxanthin.

Can I add Sera Tremazol to the food? It has praziquantel… Most medicine needs prescriptions here in Europe.
