the vid doesnt go after 25 seconds, but from what i see it looks good, if you want to ditch the airstones, get a cheap powerhead/wavemaker off of ebay (you can get a 3250 gph sunsun model 2 for 30 or 40)

its fine the way it is bud...your fish would let you know if theres not enough aeration..especially big ones like those pbass

i have a 180 gallon acrylic tank..i got to 10'' rtc/shovelnose hybrids,gar 14'', 3 pbass 14-17''..

my question is,

how can i have air in the water for the fish without the airpump/airstones ??

Pointing a strong powerhead towards the surface of the water will add more oxygen.............Adding more plants to the aquarium will also add more oxygen..........Fill a large flowering clay pot full Anarchis or Hornwort and let it grow..........The pot should add a little more time to their lives in that pbass tank..........

Here's what I use for air instead of air stones. The pond pump(268gph) I got from harbor freight for $15 and just added an air line. Your set-up looks good and you should be fine removing the airstones.

I would keep the FX5 outlet and the sump return at the top and drop the the power head/s to the bottom of the tank.

Hydor Koralia Evolution Nano 1600lph two of these would work for the bottom. IMO, I would lose the drift wood in the tank. Just because it's hazard to the fish. IMO.

But, yeah, you can take the airstones out now.
