How tough are bichirs

I find Bichirs to be quite Hardy.... Just dont use convicts as feeders!!!!

guess i have a lazy bichir - never ate feeders. they swim right by his (her) nose and they are ignored. been doing just fine on meal worms and frozen meaty stuff.

i'm debating gettign one also... what temp/ ph do they need... can they be kept with dwarf cichlids?
