I was just woundering that if there were anybody here who keeps all their fish related receipts and at the end of the year they see how much they spent? I m asking that cause I just came to realize that I m very weird, I keeped all my receipts of all my fishes that I ever brought here in the US. Yah I know its weird! I have receipts from 3 yrs ago and I guess for me its just cool to look at them and see what fishes did I used to keep and know how much I paid for them.
m I the only one?

Personally I would not want to see how much I spent...could not do me any good :D

yop aint the tax man are you?

For me, i try to lose the receipts as fast as i can! Or else if the GF so happens to find it, she would kill me! :D

i some times fined my old receipts in my pants pocket

I keep receipts by nature. You never know when you may need to return something. And lots of things have either life-time warranties or long guarantees.
Just out of curiousity what do you spend in a year on fish and fish related items?

You know what? to answer your question I m afraid to say that in a year I have spent a lil over 2 thousand dollars in fish related things. I know its alot of money( at least to me it is) and just so you guys know thats actually why I like to keep my receipts, so I know not to spend that much money. What got me realy mad is that I spend all that money and I m yet to be able to afford a tank bigger than a 75.(The energy bill is killing me) I saved all this year, cutted my fish budged if you will, and have enough money to buy a 200 to 310 gallon. However I failed my College Algebra course and I will have to retake it this mini sesson, plus I need money for next semester. Now you see why I must keep my receipts?

I dont spend near as much money as I did when I was younger. When I was 17 I stuffed 25 tanks ranging from 20-240 gallons into my little bedroom. Got so humid in there it felt like I was living in the amazon.
