it wont......until the sun burns all its hydrogen and expands engulfing the earth

I agree, mankind could never do anything to end the world. The only thing we will end is ourselves.

The sun, in about 4.3 billion years will release all of its Hydrogen gases and heat. it will then form into a Red Giant star. In the mean time, the loss of light and heat will cause the earth to go into a complete iceage, and nothing will survive.

The red giant will pull the earth into it by gravity and may cause a Super Nova. The Red Giant will then turn into a White Dwarf star. End of Story.

YAY! who else said zombie. join my army dude. u will be one of the few founders of the new world when we win against the zombies:FIREdevil:cheers:

Heck yeah! I'd love to kill zombies! My friends and I were discussing that over some beers the other day how awesome it would be to kill zombies. But I think you'd want me to lead your army though. My friends always tell me that they're coming to my house when WW3 happens. I tell them to screw off unless they're bringing their own ammo! :D

Your kidding right? have you seen what we've done to the earth? Not only could we but we have alredy started., Radioactive this, bomb that, over use of meds leading to new more reseliant viral strains, and then to top it off we bulldose the earth put up roads and houses then rape the land for fuel to run the cars and heat the house's, etc. just to get you thinking on that one.

Not only does man have the power to destroy the earth but it's the small things we all take for granted in our 1st world nations that will in the end causing the most damage.

Yes I know every thing is enviro frendly now etc. etc., but can that bring back the animals we have alrady wiped out and that recycling now that were running out of room in the land fills will help with the damage done untill 2000 when they really started to push for change? (still not that happy with the cange till now but better then none)

No I'm not an activest (I drive a car, eat fast food, use ungodly amounts of power to run the tanks and computers and what not) just stating a point.

I disagree. The planet will continue on without the human race.

Nothing we do will destroy the planet. Just the world as we know it currently. We could have a nuclear war but the earth won't stay radioactive forever. Pollution, mass extinctions, rocks hurtling through space, viruses, the living dead. None of that would be permanent. As long as there is anything alive on this planet, even single celled organisims then life will continue to evolve and florish; unless of course the earth gets sucked into the sun and that is completely out of our power anyway.
