How Would You Move a 2ft?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
personally I would use a cooler and and air pump with a car adapter.........a large garbage bag to grab it and definately use some of the water in its current tank.........

Maybe he could fit in the big cooler we have but im not sure about it.....

I transported my 22" Silver in a 20" barrel. I would rather use a 24" x 12 or 15" cooler...

I would suggest only using water from the tank it is in.

I haven't pulled it out to measure ;) though I am sure at least 23 maybe close to 25" I have had this fish for a while hold up i will check my threads for an exact date.

I don't guess... I use a tape maesure so i don't lie to you :D

They slow way down around 20-24"

I transported a 16"-17" Jardini (not nearly as big as 2ft), but i putted the fish in a trash bag, and then placed the arowana in a styrofoam box. I didn't even used a battery operated air pump. All the movement from the car ride should provide it with enough oxygen but to be safe bring one along. My trip was around 2 hours so any of the methods listed above should be A-OKAY! :D

I just transported a 2' aro in a cooler over an hour without an air stone or pump. No problems.
