How would you stock a 125g planted?

I was thinking...
10 clownloaches
15-20 neon tetras
5 rubber lip plecos
3-5 angels

I'd love to hear your ideas

Peacful cichlid community:
sevs, geos, firemouths, angels, plecos, some kind of schooling fish, like SD's, black skirt tetras, serpae tetras, etc.
2x firemouths
2x sevs
4x geos
3x angels
for the plecos, it depends on the species
5x SD's or 6-8x smaller tetras

10 CL's sounds like too much in the long run, and I don't really like CL's anyway due to their rediculously slow growthrates (it takes them 2-3 years just to get past 6"), but they are very nice (and expensive) as adults.

I'd bet a bigger type of Tetra if you wanna go with that stocklist. I think Neon Tetras are on Angel Fish's menu in the wild.

They can be kept together as long as your willing to replace a few neons occasionally once the angels are adults (and it's not like neons are that expensive). I don't really like neons though, I prefer slightly larger tetras.

Wulfonce:

I think it would be great and helpful to other MFK members if you could post a picture of your planted tank, so we could get a better idea of what we are competing with in helping you with stocking ideas for you 125g.

If you have a mangrove swamp type set up, I would suggest, Toxotes jaculator; Scatophagus argus; Periophthalmus; Cynoglossus sp.; Chanda ranga and Tetraodon fluviatilis.

If your setup is mostly Java ferns, I would suggest stocking with Rasbora hengeli; Chela dadyburjori; Rasbora einthoveni; Rasbora vaterifloris; Rasbora agilis and Rasbora heteromorpha. I suggest this as Java ferns and barbs both prefer oxygen rich water.

There are a few more stock set ups I could discribe for you, but it's rather hard to do without a visual of your planted tank. So if possible, could you please post a photo of your planted tank. It would really help me and other MFK members.

Thanks.

P.S. - In your thinking, of what you want to stock you tank with, I personally would not put Angels with neon tetras. They'd make happy meals for your Angels. Your final decission though. GL.
