How would you stock a 72x18x16 aquarium?

I like this idea but without the turtle because darter's are very sensitive to any decline in water quality. A turtle will create a huge bioload so massive water changes and optimum filter maintenance will be required. Rainbow Darter are found in the riffs of streams and river"s in Ohio so strong current will be ideal in the setup.
The turtle as an adult is smaller than my cellphone, barely makes a dent in my water quality. Unfortunately, as I live in Canada, can't do a native tank for Ohio due to legality.

What type of Turtle is it? Will it be ok swimming in strong current and cool water temperature unheated aquarium? Their are Southern Darter species so they may work.

Three stripe mud turtle. Their native rsnge includes Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia. They're more of a swamp species though, so I'd do something like bluefin killifish and pygmy sunfish if I went the native route.

Ok yes a Musk turtle species. That's a beautiful looking turtle. The Musk turtles here are drab looking but I would definitely recommend them for a aquarium that size.

A huge group of pictus cats, I've always wanted a tank like this. Lots of long skinny branches for them to cruise around and it would be a very unique and active tank.
Well, last night we just got a bunch of wild caught pictus and pimelodus albofasciatus at work. I think maybe I'll break biotope and do a group of pictus, some p. albofasciatus, and denison barbs for a nice active tank. It let's me keep my irwini and granulosus in that tank while they're still small too.
