When I first started keeping fishes/cichlids all my convicts were the stocky body type like that. Nowadays it's very hard to find them, at least around here.

ok i have to fess up. i cant have you guys thinking its a true con when its not. its a mix between a pink con and blood parrot. i got it off my local breeder when it was tiny and it grew real quick but to me its my convict and i think he/she is awesome.
No way, your're joking, that looks 100% convict, if thats a BPx Pink con then my monkey's an uncle.
I assumed so. The face is smaller than usual. i was going to mention it, but didnt wantt offend you. Great looking fish though!
