For it to be a tat thr tail is wrong, the head is wrong, the jaw is wrong and the swimming angle is wrong.


I've novice's a lot of scomb/tat co fusion among vendors. I got my tat for $40 thanks to that LOL

I told him they were scombs but he said tats and I took his word.

Tats have a few district characteristics to them that scombs dont. Chicx mentioned the main ones to look out for, but the anal fin can be a district clue at small size. An Armatus or tat will have a larger and more prominent fin vs a scomb. The apidose fin will also match the tail colour aswell in a tat vs a scomb.
