well this is a thread that i wanted to start for some reason but yea ? how did you come to find p bass for the first time

catching them in my experiences behind my grandparents condo, and great aunts in canal backwaters in florida, and im avid bass fisherman do tourneys and stuff so eh why not? im going to ecuador this summer for some community servive mission trip but im assuming since its on the other side of the andes there are no peacocks? otherwise im bringing a rod

Dieselmack, and The Trust:D Both of which gave excellent experience and facts...

And the Scatocephalus!! First Kilberi I seen :) Best too!! Personal opinion :D

havig one a long time ago that got murdered by a purple rose cichlid got me interested in the fish but seeing the trusts tank and dieselmacks tanks made me inspired so i got all pbass and a 90 gallon tank to use when my small pbass in the 30 get a little bigger

I was born in Venezuela, moved here when I was 9 mos old. My dad and I have always been fishermen. When I was about 6 we watched some pbass fishing in VZ on TNN (the old Spike Tv). From then until I was 19 we have been waiting for me to graduate to go to Vz to pbass fish... Well then I got married and had a kid before I graduated. I can't leave them here and go to Vz, so then I found out you can keep them in a fish tank. Next best thing.... bring them to us. Not just their beauty and power, but a TON of sentimental value to me... Especially wild caught from VZ.. my dad used to fish in Lake Guri... Just wait to we see those fish in the hobby!!

yea man it was kind of the same story uhh me and my bro are big large mouth fisherman and walked in a store to buy some fish and saw peacock bass and there it was my brother fell in love with the hobbie and hes lookin for bigger and better things in things in this hobbie so yea

I saw pics of The Trusts tank which turned me on to them. I am also lucky enough to live close enough to see his fish in person which made it even better.
