How?

i don't know why people insist on being so rude....

I'm not rude. I'm straightforward.

The OP was dodging every question and articulating conversation like a 7 year old wondering why his guppy can't survive in bleach... If someone wants help, they should be sincere, listen, and tell someone everything that could be a potential issue in the equation. There are far too many kids here killing fish because they want to be cool. I've never seen so many overstocked, undersized tanks in one place in my life.

People want to keep Red Tail Catfish in 55 Gallon tanks. Northern Pike (right??) in 500 Gallon tanks. When you offer advise, you're rude? I kindly think not. Animals are living beings, not freakin toys.

oh and one more thing. I kill bluegills for food anyway so it's not immature cuz when they died i just ate them so not a waste. Bluegills are better for eating than keeping in tanks.

TROLL. And people think I'm rude? Don't let this guy take you all for a ride...

He's probably a new hobbiest. keeping natives may not be for him if its too hard to keep them alive.

Could be, but I stand by my word. It's not fair killing living creatures until you figure out how to keep them alive. Humans are seriously sick and barbaric.

Even more sad the natives are seriously tough.

I am with you man. Nothing agravates me than going to a forum (on any topic) and people demand help, but not supply any specifics. I have no problem with newbies (heck, I am still one myself), but if someone wants a problem fixed, they need to supply some details. I could never imagine posting something that simply said, "my fish died, why?". I would try to provide as much information as possible. I post a lot over at an A/V forum as well, and you would not believe the amount of people who post saying they can't get their Blu-Ray player to work without providing simple details of their setup

I suspect it has something to do with your water.
Natives are one of the hardiest fish I've ever kept I always feel as if they can almost live through anything.
I've kept sm bass, yellow perch, sunfish, blue gill, crappie, rock bass, bullhead cat & they were tough as nails, even through out a past winter that iced a pool over 1 inch thick all the way out through the summer

I've encountered issues keeping natives in that they can frequently carry different disease or parasites that really take hold when moved into a tank. I also find that natives really benefit from plants and air stones because cool tanks struggle to keep proper oxygen levels. best luck.

Comparing a RTC in a 55 to a Northern Pike in a 500 gallon is the stupidest most absurd thing I've ever heard your such a joe

Well if my original intent was trolling i'd say i was successful :P anyways ye... I'd call this thread closed cuz natives= good food, bad pets :P
