Been involved in the hobby for about 18 months now and I suffer from Multiple Tank Syndrome - 18 and counting!

I haven't progressed to "monster" sized fish yet but I'll get there one day...

Lets see now... hike down to the river with net and bucket whilst being careful not to get eaten by lions and leopards and/or trampled by elephants along the way...

J/K - We have 6 or 7 LFS within 15 minute driving distance and a couple of online stores as well - not quite "Darkest Africa" anymore!

Malawi's and lake cichlids are dirt cheap and very popular out here but marine and some imported Asian/South American types will cost arm + leg. We can pretty much order any fish as long as we're prepared to pay the US$ price.

Welcome to the site. I have always wanted to visit South Africa (my fiance won't go, deathly afraid of sharks). I will get there someday with some of my boys. I can't wait to play a couple of rounds of golf there. The idea of 18 holes and a safari (LOL) at the same time sounds great. Cheers...
