Been in the aquarium game for about 15 years.
Had to cut it out for about the last 4 years due to Military service. Now I'm back home as a disabled Vet. and getting ready to start back up.
Main experience is in SA and CA cichlids. With an extra passion for heavily planted high tech tanks full of apistogramma species.
Going to start out slow this time, as that end of the hobby can get really costly really fast. Trying to find some Datnioides microlepis if anyone knows of a retailer with some juvies out here in the Riverside, CA area please let me know.
Looking forward to reading up some more on these fish. I just never had the cash flow or the nerve to set up 500+ gallon tanks for some of these beasts.
