HOWS THIS PARROT ???? FOR HIM ?????

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Its next to impossible to simply look at a blood parrot and determine gender. The only way to be sure is to look at the vent.

You really need at least a 300 liter (75 gallons) but a 70 gallon is better than the tank they are in now.

70 gallon would work if footprint is 48"x18". It would be a little shallow but could prolly work.

hey fishmamma,,,,, not yet....
i dont understand the concept of checking the vent of the fish....

You catch the fish, you flip it over, you look at its sexual opening(VENT) and you see what shape it is. I don't understand what you get about that. If you're having trouble, take pictures of the vent and post it.

Someone should post a tutorial video, I don't feel like it but someone else should. Then when some else you can be like bam, heres the video.

Theres a thing called Google too...

its easy to vent...take the bp out look at the vent, if it is V shaped and pointy, its male...if its U shaped its a female...

btw the post ^ is a WIN lol. I'm probably guilty of that as well, that's what most people do anyway.
