collection point and the fins get a red tinge, if you are lucky like my male, he has blood red markings in the tail fin and the dorsal tip......

Thanks guys. It looked like they were moving gravel/digging a pit and moving eggs tonight. They are also more aggresive defending their territory. It shouldn't be long now.

The last batch of eggs were eaten, but they laid again yesterday. Maybe they will get it right this time.

They had to pick the darkest corner of the tank. I hate taking flash pictures - it always washes all of the color out.

Thanks. Keeping my fingers crossed. They are a little more protective of their spot this time. The male seems to be staying w/ her and the eggs more this time too. Stronger bond I hope.
