A girl contacted me with a tank for sale, a 55 gallon for $30!:D

No stand or anything, but heck I have everything in my basement if I wanted to set it up tomorrow.

The tank is located in the town where my husband's shop is (hour away) and I can no longer drive long distances so he would have to pick it up. Besides, he's the one with the truck.

Told him about it and he said NO WAY!:irked: Claims I have enough tanks. I haven't even set up my "new" 29 gallon yet because he still needs to finish the stand.

I'm temped to call up the girl, PayPal her the money, and have my sister drive me over to pick it up.

DO it, you are the woman of the house you just hold back sex and you own him, YOU GO GIRL.

cant beat the deal get it

Relationships aren't all about agreeing but are about acceptance and respect. If you accept your husbands woodshop he should respect your fishroom. You can agree to disagree as long as you respect each other. That being said get the tank!!! He'll get over it.

Get it.I always buy stuff without the wifes approvle.Whats he gonna do when its there get mad for a bit?

:swear: Darn it!

It's gone!

I guess now this is a lesson learned: If it's a great deal, just go for it!

Of course, then wear the lingerie he bought you last year that he likes and you said "you have got to be kidding"naughty: If he didn't you should, heheh.

you just hold back sex and you own him, YOU GO GIRL.

If she's allowed to hold back sex then he's allowed to go get a $30 hooker, it's only fair, fight fire with fire.:FIREdevil

Talk about waking up the dead...this thread is ancient...

I cannot believe the responses, especially the mods. Shame on all of you.

I know this is old but i for one would have advised her not to. But that's only going off the op. I can't make a clear judgment since i don't know their situation at home or in the relationship or how their finances are and what not.

But generally I'd say don't go do something your spouse already told you not to. I'm guessing mods aren't marriage councilors, lol
