wow all with out a rod n reel !!! ohwell what are those catfish in the second lot of pics ???

I dont know you wont believe it but i pulled a catfish in and there were like twenty of them on it but they all jumped off except two. i think they were sucking on its slime coat
any way some brazilians said it was a dreaded Candiru but some said it wasnt? when out of the water it stuck two spikes out of its gills...COOL.
did anybody get the tfh april issue? on page 116 they had it on it 
it said, A NEW FISH FROM SOUTH AMERICA, THOUGHT TO BE A RELATIVE OF THE DREADED CANDIRU.

Oscar and redtailed cat, they call it a Piraosca the scientific name is Calophysus macropterus. it was the biggest fish i ever caught roughly two feet yeay its really small buut i will try to do better.
i like this way of fishing better i just bought a 44lb line whith a huge treble hook, bobber, and weight of course i will get some bloody hands if i get a 44 pounder whith my bear hands.
